UCFIBRE™® Optical Adaptors

Overview

Draka offers an extensive range of optical adaptors for use in FTTx, telecommunications, data communications.
and CATV applications. All adaptors are fully qualified to Telcordia GR326 and IEC 61300 and all materials used are
RoHS compliant.

Adaptors can be supplied in a variety of colours and for a variety of different connector types such as FC, SC, ST,LC, E2000 etc. Further connector types are also available on re quest.

extensive range of optical pigtails for use in FTTx, telecommunications, data communications and
CATV applications. All pigtails are fully qualified to Telcordia GR326 and IEC 61300 and all materials
used are RoHS compliant. can be supplied in a variety of length s and with a variety of different
connector types.

Features

  • Full traceability and test certification supplied with each assembly.
  • Ultra polish (UPC) supplied as standard and Angle polish (APC) also available.
  • Qualified to Telcordia GR326 and IEC 61300 standards and RoHS compliant materials properties.
  • Can be supplied with many different connector types such as FC, SC, ST, E2000, LC, DIN and others
    on request.
  • Available in single-mode and multimode (50/125 and 62.5/125).
  • Many fibre types available including single-mode, multimode, low loss & bend insensitive fibres.
  • Standard length supplied is 1m or 2m.
  • Standard cable diameter is 900 micron with easy strip buffering.

The first 2 digit code denotes the micron, followed by the next 2 letters which represents the connector type. The dash is next, followed by a number to denote the length of the pigtail.Note: Pigtails must be ordered in 1 metre increments.Example of a pigtail part number: – PT09SC-1. The above example describes a pigtail 1 metre in length, with S C connector on one end. It is an OS1/2 (9um) pigtail.

This is followed by a letter which signifies the type of termination and then another letter to denote the sheath of the patchcord. The first 2 numbers represents the micron, and the second set of numbers represents the connector The dash is next, followed by a number to denote the length of the patchcord. Note: Patchcords must be ordered in 1 metre increments. Example of a patchcord part number:PCDL06209-1. The above example describes a patchcord 1 metre in length, with LC/FC connectors on both ends. It is an OM1 (62.5um) duplex patchcord with a LSZH sheath.
